Maybe you are. But that's reall cool. I know a bit. I have a deaf friend in school who teaches me occasionally. Cool choice! Maybe if I have time and money/energy I'll totally look into that deeper.

Definately look into it. Where i go to school for it, it's hard as all hell, and I'm struggling to keep up with all the work that needs to be finished, on top of the 100 hours of observations I need to finish a semester. It's a real pain in the ass, but in the end it'll be worth it,

That's cool. Really cool. I'm destined to be an English/Russian Studies major though. But I don't know. I love learning it. You have to do observations? Where are you going for it? I guess it can't be found at Wake Forest or any college I'm interested in. But will do-I'l look into it. Last year, my friends (that can talk) chose to communicate mostly by signs. It was cool. But I've forgotten a lot.

Yeah, my one Deaf friend is in Florida until next semester, so I've forgotten pretty much everything he's taught me, which sucks. I have to observe interpreters, have hours of interaction with the deaf community, lab hours, which involve sitting and watching movies on deaf culture, and Deaf community service hours, all totaling up to 100 hours a semester, it's rough. I go to Bloomsburg University in Pa. it's the only college in this state that has the major X[

Awesome! I'll have to look for a college in NC with it. Is Bloomsburg cool? I think the observation thing would be really cool. My deaf friend sits right in front of me in 1st block. He can read people's lips when they talk so it not that difficult to communicate. How would you do community service hours with the deaf? Help them or something? I know how to sign RUSSIA! Other things too of course, I just love Russia. lol. That's awesome you're doing that anyway.
