Post-Bear-Vs.-Shark band Champions of History is no more, but most of the members will be involved in a new band called Bars of Gold. Here's Marc Paffi's post to CoH's myspace wall:

Greetings all and thank you for your patience. I am truly sorry for all the waiting. After a series of trials I have finally landed on afew boys that enjoy music as much as i do......"Champions of History" is now called "Bars of Gold" we have no scrapfacebookpage yet, however we have been jamming for about two months now and hope to be playing shows and releasing an E.P just after thanksgiving. The band is the members of WILDCATTING and me, Marc.

they've been up for over a month now and still no improvement :-( I thought they'd be touring by Thanksgiving or something.

If you haven't checked their myspace in a while, there are some more songs. Audio quality isn't terrific, but I agree that there are strong songs fighting to get out.

I submitted the new songs as news but it didn't show up on the front page. Sad.

really liking this a lot. seriously. definitely an album i'm gonna have to anticipate for this year. marc paffi's voice fucking rules for this music style and the instrumentals are creative, but still energetic

Weird, what type of error are you getting? Which browser are you using? I know it works for Chrome and IE (Havn't tested any other browsers). I don't think download accelerators will work either... just click the link and let it prompt to save.
If you still can't get them to work let me know and i'll try and find another way to get it to you (email, pm or something).

Anyone else having problems??

EDIT: Do any of the other download threads work for you?

This band is amazing. I am just glad to hear Marc Paffi's vocals again. Such a great frontman.
