House Of Fools (www.purevolume.com/houseoffools)- Very reliable sources tell me this band just signed to Drive-Thru Records. They have a mellow yet awesome sound, sort of an indy feel. Check it.

The Dear Hunter (http://www.purevolume.com/thedearhunter)- Casey of The Receiving End Of Sirens (www.purevolume.com/thereceivingendofsirens)' side-project...you can only imagine how I feel about it.

--------Forgive Durden's Recommendations-----------

Thomas:
Ratatat (http://www.audiodregs.com/ratatat/) - "Seventeen Years" is my new theme song. I listen to it at least five times daily.

Lizzie Huffman (http://www.purevolume.com/lizziehuffman) - She's got Gastby in her blood and she's going places. Acoustic solo act.

Jesse:
Children Of Bodom (http://www.purevolume.com/childrenofbodom) - Keyboard and guitar solos. Thumbs up.

Death Before Dying On A Twisted River Of Blood (http://www.purevolume.com/deathbeforedyingonatwistedriverofbl ood) - Post-poetic electronic death.

Big T:
John Swana (http://www.modernmusicians.com/johnswana/) - Composition and improv at its best. This guy is a true musician.

Lightning Bolt (htttp://www.laserbeast.com)- Absolute madness.

Andy:
David Cross (http://www.subpop.com/bands/david_cross/cross_dvd/index.html) - He's a funny, funny man. Everyone should listen to him for an hilarious, educational experience.

The Agony Scene (http://www.theagonyscene.com/) - They bring the pain.

The Sodomy/Beastiality part of his "It's Not Funny" album is priceless. As is the rest of the album.

House of Fools reminds me of Sleep Station. they should work on filling up the Rushmore roster, DTR has enough for now.

David Cross is absolutely hilarious... and so everyone should watch Arrested Development tonight and get the ratings up huge, as the show will likely be done after this season otherwise.

here's a tip for all you college kids: ratatat's 'seventeen years' will make you better at beer pong. trust me. put it on during a turn, say "yea, this is my victory song," and sink a shot.

other than that, it's still a great song. the lead melodies could pump anybody up.

I hear The Format similarities in that first song. Definitely.
