Is it really March already? I can't believe how fast time flies. Anyways, I was lazy and busy all weekend so I'm not going to give you a drawn out reason why I am listening to these songs. But will provide you with two mixtapes and if anyone would like to trade with me then let me know. (pat.marquez@absolutepunk.net) I also had Tony and Andrew help me out. I also need help with graphic animation, so if any of you are good with flash, let me know.

1.) Jets To Brazil - "Further North." (My favorite band and song.)
2.) Spoon - "Chicago At Night."
3.) Iron & Wine - "Cinder And Smoke."
4.) The Appleseed Cast - "Dearest Life."
5.) Sufjan Stevens - "A Good Man Is Hard To Find."
6.) Joan Of Arc - "Excitement Is Exciting."
7.) Mogwai - "Rats Of The Capital."
8.) The Factory Incident - "In The Vile."
9.) Winter In Alaska - "Water On My Skin."
10.) Minus The Bear - "Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo."
11.) My Robot Friend - "Why Won't You Call Me Back."
12.) Omar A. Rodriquez Lopez - "Dyna Sark Arches."
13.) Thunderbirds Are Now! - "Eat This City."
14.) Sunday's Best - "The Salt Mines Of Santa Monica."
15.) New Amsterdams - "Hanging On For Hope."
16.) Kraftwerk - "Computer World..2."
17.) Jack Johnson - "Better Together."
--------------------------------------------------------------
1.) It Dies Today - "The Caitff Choir: Defeatism."
2.) Isis - "Syndic Calls."
3.) Pig Destroyer - "Regection Fetish."
4.) Snapcase - "Weak Tyrant."
5.) Mastodon - "Blood And Thunder."
6.) Lickgoldensky - "How Are You Doing."
7.) Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza - "5 Deep On Charlie."
8.) Scissorfight - "Hex."
9.) Pg. 99 - "Your Face Is A Rape Scene."
10.) Pelican - "GW."

So...I decided to help Pat out, but only after he begged me for days to do recs with him. This ones for you good buddy.

John Coltrane - "Blue Train" this album is amazing in so many ways you dont even know yet. jazz really is so much more amazing than people give it credit for, and this album is one of 'Trane's best work.

The Falcon - "God Dont Make No Trash Or Up Your Ass With Broken Glass." Like alkaline trio? like the Lawrence Arms? Biscayne? The Honor System? Tuesday? If you answered no to any
of the following... you suck. and thats why this band absolutley owns my soul.

Del the Funkee Homosapien - "Deltron 3030" This is what good hip hop sounds like. Del himself working with Dan The Automator that many of you know from his work with Head Automatica. this shit right here is sick. Songs about destroying the world with a CPU virus, doing cocaine, and "updating your grey matter" check this ill shit out now.

Ghengis Tron- "Cloak of Love" You think you like dance? punk? grind? This is the perfect mix of grind and punk and dance. 3 guys, 2 keyboardists, a guitar player and an electronic drummer makes this shit like The Locust, Dillinger Escape Plan, and !!! all in one. This is something you
need to check out. fo sho.

Glass And Ashes - "Asthetic Arrest" Like Against Me? Rehasher? Dillinger Four?
Leatherface? Wish Hot Water Music was better? wish punk didnt suck anymore? want to move to gainesville because it owns face? This is another reason why you will be saved. This shit is genious, if you will. so, go on purevolume, rock out and buy the cd. I promise
you'll love it.

Gunmoll - Another gainesville band on No Idea records. If you like fast punk that sounds like it was influenced more by Motorhead than Minor Threat, this is for you. They break up like every six days, so go buy "Anger Management In Four Chords Or Less" or "Board Of Rejection" right now and convince them back into it.

Iron & Wine - "Our Endless Numbered Days." Chillest music ever. I fell asleep listening to them a few nights ago, and my nap was glorious.

Killing The Dream- "S/T." This is what passionate hardcore should sound like. Their newest 7" is out on Deathwish Records. Unforunately, I don't have a record player...but their self-titled is available on cd from Rivalry Records. For fans of Verse, Shai Hulud, Champion, etc.

Death Before Dishonor- "Friends Family Forever." One of Bridge 9's newest signings, DB4D is a brutal hardcore (with metal influenes)band from Boston. For fans of Bury Your Dead, Terror, First Blood, etc.

Acceptance - "Phantoms." I still the first leak of this album (I can't wait to buy it when it comes out), and it never fails to impress me. This is one of the catchiest albums I have ever heard. It's pop-rock at its finest.

Comeback Kid - "Wake The Dead." Just buy it... 'nuff said.

Death From Above 1979 - "You're A Woman, I'm a Machine." This is some funky, raw music. DFA 1979 is one of my favorite "indie" bands aroundtoday.

These newly released songs have been making me happy:

Fall Out Boy - "Hand of God"
Blue Monday - "Let It Out"
Between The Buried And Me - "Alaska"
Two Shots of Rye - "We Are"
