View Full Version : Well, my iPod has officially run out of space...
I knew this day would come. I had to stop syncing videos a while back in order to sync all of my music. Today I stopped syncing everything except music (and album art) and I still received the error message that my iPod could not fit all of the requested files.
The iPod I have is of the best design (the one before it became the "Classic") and is 30GB.
This means that the iPod Touch is out of the question, since the largest is only 32GB.
Should I go ahead and get the 120GB iPod Classic, or should I wait for whatever they release next (or a larger Touch)?

Shhh, I actually have the same question. My iPod filled a long time ago and with Christmas and a birthday coming up, I figured I'd throw this idea out there to family.

I debated for a long time before just going with the 80gig Classic refurbished. It's *only* $170 online, and its so amazingly nice to be able to cue up any song you'd like whenever it's on you.
A touch would be amazing, and I may still save up and get an 8 gig sometime down the road.

Haha, I'm in the same situation too! I'm wondering if it's best to ask for a 120gb one for Christmas (I have a 30gb one now), or just wait until next summer and buy one with my graduation money to see if they're released anything better.
Looks like many people are in the same boat.
I would immediately get the 120GB Zune (they're awesome, despite what the mass media and Apple fanboys tell you), but I upgraded my car stereo system with the exact purpose of being able to plug my iPod in and control it through the head unit.

I just gone ahead and got the classic 120 gigs the other day.
Although I only have 28 gigs of music, I know that possibly one day, I can fill it up.
