Nobody remembers it because it came out way late in the consoles life,

Comix Zone, Pitfall the Mayan Adventure, Madden 97, Streets of Rage, and Vectorman 2 are my top 5 genesis games, with Combat Cars, the Shinobi games, and Golden Axe close behind.

And yeah, unfortunately nobody remembers it.
It did come out way too late.
It could've been huge if it was released during the Genesis' peak.
I heard a rumor of another being released on one of the next-gen consoles, but it never happened.

this is without question the best Sega game, but it is in no way the greatest game ever made. That falls to SNK baseball on the NES or GoldenEye on the Nintindo 64.

streets of rage II was a great game along with Jurassic Park, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. Also Mortal Kombat has to be up there.
