Commander Venus

i just started listening to commander venus- "do you feel at home?", which was conor obert's first (i think) band. im not even too big of a bright eyes fan but i really like read music/ speak spanish and wanted to check out his even earlier stuff. turns out i really like commander venus. each of the songs are catchy in their own weird ways and his super young-sounding voice goes pretty well with the music, it doesnt bug me at all, like i'm sure it does for a lot of people who listen to it. anyone else like this album? anyone else know if "uneventful vacation" is any better or worse?

Read Music/Speak Spanish is not a Bright Eyes Album. It is a Desaparecidos album.

ummm just to let you know, conor oberst was the singer in desaparecidos. i was talking about him, not just bright eyes. all his albums werent just while he was in bright eyes, by the way.
