Got some Math Pre-Calc questions I'd love to get help one.

f(x) {2X+1 X<-1}
{X^2 -2 X > -11}

k(x)=X^3+1 h(x)= 3x+2

Find: koh(-2)

---------------------

Find all parts: A) (f+g)(x) B) (f-g)(x) C) (fg)(x) D) (f/g)(x)

4. f(x)= x-3
g(x)= x-3

5. f(x)= x^2
g(x)= 1-x

6. F(x)= (x+h)/h

f(x)= rad x+4 g(x)= x^2

Find Domain: f(x)
g(x)

Find: fog (x)
gof(x)

it's that way with all quadratics.

It's not that hard but the other shit is impossible. I may have to drop the course soon because if I don't get a C I can't go onto Calc in the Spring. I really hate my professor too.

yeah they have the same policy at my school. my professor is okay but he gives the hardest problems ever and makes it look so easy.

My prof is basically John McCain and is so fucking strict about the class. Like he freaks out if you discuss the problem with other people. Never again will I pick my schedule without consulting RateYourProfessor.

lol sorry. i rely on ratemyprofessor. my professor gives 3 exams and a final. but the lowest grade on the 3 exams is dropped, so i'm definitely getting an A. what's your major?

I was a Civil Engineer when I started this year, I'm Mechanical now though. We (NJIT) get basically a common exam every week. This morning I had a Physics common. Next week I got Computer Science.

i don't have one. sucks cause I'll soon have to choose and i have no idea. my sister is going to be a chemical engineer and she loves physics. i just got a computer science midterm got a B+ :shrug:

I like math and physics it's just been really challenging this year since my physics teacher only speaks Russian and my math teacher is John McCain and doesn't actually teach. I switched to Mechanical so I can go for materials since I want to ideally design snowboards for a company out west.

Haha what type of CS is it? Matlab, Java or C++? My friend has C++ cause she's a math major and she HATES it haha.

I hate C++. Java is way better, and much more useful in the real world. C++ used to be the premier language prior to around 1996, then Java took over.

I have no idea honestly. I'm taking my general requirement of CS for one year and then I'm done. It really doesn't help me at all.

You might be taking what is equivilant to CS 1 in high school. In CS 1 they learn basic HTML. Are you doing any programming?

I'm in Matlab. I guess it's programming? :shrug:

Not sure what is. Last year I used Visual Basic when programing (very old, used back in like the 70s) and I did some HTML over the summer and now I'm learning Java.

Yeah MatLab is a programming language. It's mostly for matrices, plotting functions and data and the such. It's not very interesting but it's a really easy class.
