Why do band insist on using the same cliches? I think i get kinda lame after a while. What are some cliches you always catch?
I think the most obvious ones are "burning bridges" and "call to arms."

Oh! How about when the singers say "Go!" I'm always left wondering, "okay, where do you want me to go to?"
But Sick Of It All had an album called Call To Arms and that album is badass.
I don't think "Go!" is overused. It's always nice to hear a "go!" before a breakdown.

We use the word Janxy though. Which needs to get wider appeal.

I do that at times, only I say "Rock n' Roll" because I have a slight obsession with This Is Spinal Tap.

how bout just basically singing about a girl breaking up with you and her being a bitch... is that cliche? haha cuz it always seemed to me that that was what 90% of the songs I heard were about. which was great when I was going through that faze of bitterness, but theres jsut so many songs that all basically say the exact same thing
