the story I heard is that all these soco side projects are a way of showing Geffen that the band should have creative control over their music, because Geffen had been trying to control them as of late. It is a rumor though, so that could definatly not be true.

I heard they were doing these side projects because Geffen wouldn't let Something Corporate have the creative freedom they wanted.

If the whole Geffen Record thing is true you have to buy the cd not download it, thats how they will prove or w.e but i must say i looove jacks mannequin from the few tracks they have put out. its amazing. they are gunna be where i live very soon.
