Here's the tracklisting for the new JamisonParker (http://www.jamisonparker.com) album, Sleepwalker, which will be in stores May 24th. My first impression is that this album is everything I wanted it to be ... very pop meets dark Death Cab mixed with My Bloody Valentine and Jimmy Eat World. That's the best description I can come up with - a full review will be completed closer to the release date, and after I've had a few hundred more listens!

Alot like their EP .. but maybe a little more mellow .. not as "jump and bop" pop .. but more mature, very "big" sounding .. and still very pop oriented.. I dunno the song they will put on PV on monday will give a better explanation then I can. I suck at comparing bands ..

i like the way you describe things. "jump and bop" thats just awesome. i can't wait for the new song on monday. yay. may is turning out to be a fantastic month.

i liked there ep but it didnt have staying power with me.i listened to it for about 3 weeks and havent really picked it up since.

That's the issue I think they've really addressed. I think this will have staying power .. it's just such a big powerful sound .. I'll have a better thought on that matter in a few weeks... it's similar to Mae (at the moment) in the 2004 favorite albums category of my mind... and sorta in sonic quality.

The EP had staying power with me. I cant wait for this one.

yeah, i think they played one new song friday when i saw them, but jamison lost his voice after only 2 and a half songs, so they cut the set short.. it was sad :(

I liked JamisonParker's EP (even though I agree it was very cheesy). I hope the full length doesn't stray too far from it.
Oh, and I don't see the Nick/Tate thing.
But I did see a Jamison/Robert Smith resemblance last time I saw JP..

Yeah I'm so stoked on the new JP.
I've been waiting what seems like forever for the new album, it's been delayed for at least 7 months now, but I'm thinking it's been closer to a year actually (I remember hearing it was supposed to come out last spring)...oh well, I'm glad it's finally about to be here. I'm so pumped to download the track off PV, I really wish they'd release it at like 12:01 AM or something cuz I wanna hear it tonight!
I still haven't seen them live though. Wish I could've made it to the Straylight Run/JP/Plain White T's show that came here a year or so ago...
