Fan Reports In: "This Providence (www.thisprovidence.com) played a show the other night for Random Entertainment. There were only about 50+ people because the RX Bandits (ww.rxbandits.com) live show just down the street at ASU. Even with very little people, This Providence just blew me away, with the dual vocals that sounded amazing together. Dan Young (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and Phil Cobrea (Bass and Vocals) both had such amazing voices that make This Providence the band they are. Not to forget Gavin Phillips (Guitar) and Paul Benson (Drums), they were both amazing at their instruments and blew me away as well. Paul Benson recently fractured his foot at the start of the tour but still played an amazing set and was a very coo and funny guy. My favorite song of the night was 'Certain Words in Uncertain Times', Dan's voice truly showed what he can do, hitting every note the same as the CD. The whole band made their live performance just as good as the CD. After the show I had the privilege to go out to dinner and hang out with the guys after. They are the most down to earth, nicest guys I have ever met and I cant wait to they come back soon. If they are coming to your town soon, you better get out there because they will just blow you away every song."

yea i was at that show and it was amazing.i went out to eat with them after the show and chilled with them that night and there the most down to earth people.soo nice and humble!they are going to be huge soon seriously just wait and see..

While I must admit that Dan is quite a beauty especially with that accent, I have to agree that you're pretty near crazy if you go see them over RX Bandits. But maybe that's just because I'm privaleged enough to live in Seattle?

RX bandits do put on a good show, as to who someone should go and see should be up to them. You can't say that This providence does or doesn't put on a good show until you have seen them. Other than that, i wish i could have been at both shows.
