I cannot wait to pick this cd up. I know alot of people like Remember Right Now better, but I think I will like this cd more than Remember Right Now.

Van Buren is a very good song, but I think from the desk of b. larsen is one of the weaker songs on this cd.

This.album.kicks.ass. You have no right to talk on such matters after promoting such a generic band like Cute is What We Aim for. I love the new Spitalfield.

I am not going to say this album sucks. However, I do think that a band like Spitalfield should have been able to turn out some better song. The ones I have heard so far really do not seem to live up the the catchiness and energy that Remember Right Now had.

That's because it takes a while to force yourself to like something. You have to listen to it over and over again and tell your mind that you like it. It's like muscle memory.

Anyway, if you took Remember Right Now, removed the energy, removed the hooks, added some distortion and threw in some shouts in the background you'd have this band. Which is not Spitalfield.

Spitalfield was never a favorite of mine, I don't really see any difference between these songs and any of their old ones. It's as generic as ever.

Yeah Remember Right Now was so good. I was expecting a lot more, but still the songs are decent.

remember right now was such a great record. it had such energy and i loved it. but this stuff....this isnt spitalfield..yeah, its great that bands grow and mature and all that. but like..this just sucks. spitalfield was one of those bands that was the exception to that whole ' the new thing to do is grow and try something different' trend...man, they shouldve stuck to what they knew..

oh well...

watch this cd go NOWHERE with spitalfield's old fans.

Good. Now there will be less fat 13 year old girls there dancing at the shows and more people who like their music. And yes you can state your opinions on the board Greyxmundo. And my opinion is that you suck.

Yeah because fat 13 year old girls can't like music. Only skinny 15 year old boys can.

You missed the point. Girls there who are only there because they like "I Loved the Way She Said LA" wont be at the shows anymore. People who do like Spitalfield's music will be at the shows.

You mean people who actually read into the band and support them. I get what you are saying now.

But by the way, Spitalfield is dead.

ummm am I missing something?

Maybe it's just me but remember right now had like 3 or 4 good songs on it and those got old after a couple of listens.
These new demos sound like Spitalfield but they're maturing. Stop bitching.

PS. it's kinda obvious spitalfield isn't dead, in case you haven't noticed, they are putting out a new cd with decent songs that I probably wont ever listen to

wow this is sad, so many haters on spitalfield. i admit, when i first got the album i was too but this cd takes some getting used to. i can't get it out of my cd player now and if you see their live show the new songs have the same if not more energy as the old ones. give the entire cd a chance before you hate on 3 or 4 songs.

I LOVE Spitalfield, but I do not love this cd. I have listened to it around 20 times now, and I couldn't hum a chorus to save my life. The drumming seems week on the album and that was my favorite part of Remember Right Now. It is just a good cd, nothing great that sticks with you.

i think the issue is that we all liked remember right now because it was so goddamn catchy and peppy. But with Stop doing bad things they're trying to pull out something different from the other record, and that by one way is good, I have always thought that a band must move on and change and perfect their style instead of making a record that is like version number 2 of the old one. But I think in Stop doing bad things they're trying to to do something that it isn't just them and maybe that's why it sound so weak.

Also I think the production is lame, there was a post a while ago about something that the producer said that left us thinking that he didn't quite got compromised with the band and the new record. Personaly I think the guitars sound weak and distant, and that substracts energy to the overall of the record. Also the singer, forgot his name, sings without the same energy as in Remember Right Now, ahhh I don't know, is sooo different...

Anyway, I'm starting to grow on some songs, like the first one
