I was messaged via myspace by their drummer john, who threatened to kick my ass. I replied informing him of who i was. This was his response: I at the least gained a little respect for them.

this is jon the drummer.. First, im going to apologize for the way i acted that night.. you have to look at it from my point of view. i have been touring non stop the last few months, i was tired, grouchy, ect. and when somone comes to our show and approaches me like that.. i lost my cool.. i do apolgize though for acting like an ass. as far as the whole thursday thing... I agree, that riff is the damn close if not the same.. here what i will tell u about it.. our guitarist was 15 when he wrote that. maybe he was listening to the Thursday cd and he didnt even know he ripped that riff, maybe he did completey jacked it, maybe it was a complete coinsidence.. I cant tell u honestly that i know.. I know that we will never let something like that happen again. I started this band 5 years ago with torry.. we are still young, we are going to make mistakes, but we would never completely and deliberately take something from another band. this band has been my whole life the last 5 years, we have worked harder than any other band i know. yeh, we arent the best band, people are going to say we suck, there going to say we arent orignal, i understand that. We are so young and we got thrown into this music game so fast, i think that is why alot of our stuff is so diverse. i dont think we have even come into our own yet.. i want to send you some of our new songs that arent being released yet, i think on these songs we are starting to form into our own writing style.. anyways, i just wanted to apoligize for everything.. i acted like an ass that night. If you could respond to this through my email that would be awesome.. cuz its hard to get internet out here so our families check our messages.
