Ok, right here we have to amazing bands out of the U.K. touring together. 2nd, they played at the crystal, which is easily the best venue in portland!
This show was damn awesome. I admit that I didn't know much (at all) about Kasabian, but I will assure you that I am a fan now. There style was awesome and very energetic on stage....a very good live band.
But the main attraction for me was The Music, and all the buzz about these guys live that i've been hearing is 100% true. The Music is the best live band i've ever seen. Period.
It's not often that i'm looking at a band on stage and am just in total awe as to how every member is doing something completely bad-ass. Hell, even their lead singer (who was strung out on god knows what) was doing his break-dance foot work during the parts without vocals.
Another thing that was awesome was the sound quality...fuckin crystal ( ;) ) clear....and loud as hell...my ears were wringing for like 4 days!
The only bad part of the night was that I backed up into a poll in the parking garage that I was at...but don't worry, it washed off ;)
please...if you ever get the chance to see The Music live, fuckin do it. They are amazing, and i'm going to see them every chance I get!
