Humm, didn't they give you a free Warped Compilation in the years before, when you got your tickets on presale off of WarpedTour.com? I've never bought them on presale, so I don't remember.

I know for sure last year they were giving Warped compilation CDs with every presale order, not sure about previous years. I'd assume they'd have somewhat the same promotion going this year.

And I agree with whoever said they should reverse the order or Warped once in a while. I go to Randall's Island, and every year it's one of the last 3 shows and they also seem to be running low on merch. It would be cool if Randall's Island was one of the few bunch of shows.

ps - someone give me some scene points please. I feel like a tool with only 1. I want to be "scene".

My Warped is always in the middle. Do they really sell all the merch like that? And not have like a few boxes for each date. They should! But I guess if they wanna make the money, you gotta sell it all at once.

years ago i mean like 6 years ago randalls used to be in early july, but it used to rain too often and get dates cancelled and moved around. so they moved it to late august, to avoid weather complications

Amen. It would suck so much if there were hurricane complications again. Last year VA Beach got completely screwed out of the whole SmartPunk stage which was the best thing there..

You didn't really expect it did you? A bunch of us Knoxville based kids are driving to Columbus, Atlanta, and Charlotte this year ... if you're in the area, you would more than likely be welcome to join us if you can. Everyone needs to go to warped.

If so that's where i went last year and it was great. The setup is pretty damn sweet and Cedar Point (the biggest amusement park in the world) is like less than an hour away.

Yeah Cedar Point is wicked. if you like Roller Coasters at all you have to go to this place it's insane. 16 roller coasters the most at any amusement park in the world.

Let me tell you from experience it was one of the craziest things i have ever done. 0-120 mph in less than 4 seconds. 420 feet tall. Insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The person i went with had skydived before and she said she was more scared to go on this thing than to skydive. There were a few problems with the ride that summer though. So that could very well be why she was a little frightened.

Stupid lines...my friend and I went to Hershey Park after the Warped Tour there last summer and the lines were pretty bad, but then it started raining so everyone left. Ok, so that was a random story...but yea, I'm totally going to Ceder Point this summer. You've convinced me.

You get them for practically half priced. Last year they were supposed to give you a compilation, but I never got mine.

millenium force is an incredible rollercoaster...too bad the dragster was closed when i went

ive gone to the milwaukee show the past 2 summers and its been in the middle of the tour both times and was years before that too
for some reason they moved milwaukee up to the second date on the tour
kinda weird but i will definitely be there

Yeah, I was there, but did it sell out? Because people kept coming and buying tickets. I had to leave early (at around 6) and they were still there, selling tickets.

Woo I'm excited, probably gonna hit up the Detroit show, or if the Indianapolis one is closer then I'll go to that one. I've never been to warped before, I've wanted to go I just never really looked into it.

And Cedar Point is AMAZING! I've rode every roller coaster there, my favorite is the Raptor!! I advise anyone who's going to warped relatively close to Cedar Point and hasn't been there before to go, it's definately worth the money.

I just checked and after ervice fees ($7) and shipping ($6) they are just about the same as you apy through ticketmaster so they end up being like $34 and I think last year it was $36 after the pre sale so you dont save anything. And im not worried about the Gorge selling out for Warped tour it has been close in the past but there are always people selling tickets in the parking lot.
It's such bullshit...the main site says: "For just under $28, you'll receive a ticket to the show AND the new Vans Warped Tour 2005 CD compilation -- that's LESS than what it will cost you at the show! The price covers all shipping and service fees too." I didn't buy pre-order tickets the last two years because of the shipping and service fees. If I wanted to pay an additional $10, I would just buy the compilation CD myself. I actually e-mailed them about it this year. If they don't respond, I guess it will just be $25 at the entry gates again.

On a side note, I loved laughing at the stupid parents with their 13-year-old kids that bought tickets from scalpers outside the parking lot. As I was driving by, I heard one of them saying he'd sold 4 tickets for $40 each to one family.

Random side note: I love scene points. I just noticed I lost some in another thread (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?p=1049255#post104925 5) for saying I listen to 50 Cent. The comment was "50 cent?!?!!!" Hilarious.

i went to englishtown last year...way better then having it in asbury park..so much more room plus the fact that my friend lives down the road and we were able to walk and didnt have to bother being stuck in traffic.

Hmm... I was thinking about doing this last year, but the shipping and service were higher than if you just bought the comp by itself.

But the only thing that does interest me is the AP subscription for $7, since I just ran out of mine. And the signing thing doesnt sound that bad, considering last years lines for the booths in Dallas were really bad. Although I will probably just end up buying them at the gates like I have always done before.

Asbury was a hundred times better. Englishtown had stages that took 5 min to walk to..way too spread out

Yea, it was wicked crowded, but I dunno, I just liked it better. I agree, the stages last year at Englishtown were just too spread out and the traffic really was horrible.
