You can read an article here (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1498101/20050314/coldplay.jhtml?headlines=true) that talks about a recent Coldplay (http://www.coldplay.com) show where they debuted five new songs from their new album, X&Y, to be released on June 7th. Raise your hand if you're excited for this release.

It's actually not that hard. You just have to listen kind of closely.

But hey, who am I to speak out against something Dave Grohl likes? Everyone knows his word is GOSPEL, am I right?

I didn't like Coldplay when I first heard them either. I hated "Yellow" and therefore wouldn't give their album, Parachutes, a chance. It wasn't until I heard "In My Place" that I was like wow, maybe they don't suck so bad. I checked out A Rush of Blood To the Head and loved it, checked out Parachutes and loved that, and now June 7 cannot come soon enough. X & Y will be one of the best albums of the year.

They definetly don't suck, I agree with you on that. I just don't think they are terribly interesting. I will take a listen to the new record though, I'll give them that.

wow, that's almost identical to my story, except I only kind of liked Yellow, didn't hate it or anything....just thought it was a pretty average song. After hearing A Rush of Blood, I completely fell for this band and bought Parachutes the next day, fell in love with it, checked out all the EP's, and they're pretty high on my list of favorite bands. It'll be hard not downloading this album early.
