A Small Victory has broken up according to their myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfi le&friendID=512261&Mytoken=20050315195543). However, it is rumored that they will be starting a new project with their new singer Chase.

"a small victory was a band derived of 5 boys out of BUFORD, GEORGIA. skating, listening to the misfits, and show going were only some of the pastimes that encouraged them to start making music of their own. they never thought they'd make it as far as they did. signing with LOBSTER RECORDS, releasing a EP and a LP nationwide, and taking part of the whole Vans 2004 Warped Tour were just a few of the many accomplishments they achieved. although ASV's run was barely shy of 4 yrs, it was definitely the most amazing, unforgettable 4 years of
their lives, thus far. thank you guys for making it possible."

as we all know, reppard, the singer, left long ago, they picked up a new singer chase. calll it a breakup, or a name change, or whatever, but from what i've gathered over recent weeks, the band with the new singer are just changing their name since they've shed so much skin.

Fuck, this band were really growing on me. El Camino was one hell of an album. :headshake

Lets hope 'Chase's band actually meet ASV's standards.

Will this new band be under lobster records?

Man that sucks. Name change or breakup it don't matter to me. It seems bands often get lost in the transition. "Farewell Capeside" is an awesome song. I really just wanted to post that last line but needed a lead-in. :dweeba5:

when reppard left, i knew something was up...you just cant continue a small victory without reppard... so they will just have to change the name. thats the only suitiable way of handling it.

That sucks, I liked ASV (with the original singer mark or reppard or whatever).
