i play hockey too so does that count for anything? and i really find these statements silly and i'm sure you don't know that much about lacrosse because lacrosse and hockey aren't very similar at all, if anything its closer to soccer.

Lacrosse is my favorite sport..or maybe it's the fact that it's the only sport, other than paintball, that i'm good at..

Lacrosse is a great sport. I only really got into this past year when I had to cover high school games for my internship but watching two of the top ranked national high school teams play was awesome.

Yes girls lacrosse is much worse. They take out the hitting saying the players focus more on the finer points like passing and stick handling and such but it's all a lie the guys are still much better even when they're being hit.
yeah...girls focuses on speed and agility, although a lot of body and force is still used...but its nothing compared to guys

In my area lacrosse is a spring sport and field hockey is a fall sport I guess they play both. I guess the sports are kind of similar but there are some major differences.

Yeah here field hockey is in the fall and lacrosse in the spring, but I played both in middle school and they're really not similar at all. There's too many whistles in both of them though. Lacrosse drove me crazy because I always wanted to hit people and I wasn't allowed to :headshake

I can't comment on field hockey but women's lacrosse would definetly benefit from less whistles. I understand if they want to keep hitting out of the game but loosening up a little on minor contact would make the game much more interesting.
yeah it would...although a lot of it goes on anyway...i have so many bruises from my game last night

I personally wrote about the Putnam Valley and Somers section championship. But I was with reporters at John Jay games, Yorktown and some other schools. I was told John Jay and Yorktown were nationally ranked, like John Jay was 7 and Yorktown was right behind. But Yorktown is crazy they've won their section like 36 out 37 years or something insane like that.

Yeah with less whistling it would be a lot better. Watching it kills me sometimes just because there's so many stoppages.
