Progress
Understand we can't keep up with the speed of progress
Our infected minds outpace the rate of success
All eyes are carving holes into the day to come
To exceed all expectations, to create a new invention
We walk alone
Were forgetting ourselves
Letting machines all take control
Is it getting too late for hope?
Is it getting too late for prayers to reach the sky?
Were all selfish in this war
Dignity was swept to the floor
A long time ago
Understand technology wont ever enhance the hearts
Of all the people we create, the machines make us look out of date
We bring them to war
We bring them to our homes
We idolize the features
That only gold and metal hold
Understand technology wont ever enhance our minds
This doesnt mean that we shouldnt try
To hold onto the values that will die
At the hands of the machines that we all made
