The Music Syndicate launches We Put Out Records through East West with first signing Stretch Arm Strong. The full press release can be found below.
Weehawken, NJ, March 11, 2005 - The Music Syndicate recently signed an exclusive U.S. distribution deal for its record label, We Put Out Records, with East West, a division of Warner Music Group. The partnership's first release will be the celebrated punk-hardcore band Stretch Arm Strong. The band will begin recording their new record in April with James Wisener (Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever) for an anticipated fall release. The joining of We Put Out Records, East West and Stretch Arm Strong results in a union with great potential.
"For the past eight years, we have helped hundreds of labels and thousands of bands to establish and build their careers and now we finally have the opportunity to do it with our own artists. We could not be more excited to be partnering with East West and ADA to help achieve the dreams and goals we have set forth for We Put Out Records," explained Reverend David Ciancio, a company founder. "It is our goal to build an A&R driven, artist friendly label where young bands can come and find the attention and patience they need on an indie level to establish a real fan base and grow as artists and business people without the pressures normally associated with the entertainment industry. It only makes sense that our first signing is South Carolina based punk hardcore band, Stretch Arm Strong, whom we also manage and who got their start with our radio departments here."
