I vote for the drummer from Saosin, or the drummer from August Burns Red.

I don't think you can categorize one person as the best drummer, but these guys are good.

Chris Pennie (Coheed, Ex-Dillinger Escape Plan)
Gil Sharone (Dillinger Escape Plan)
Erin Tate (Minus the Bear)
Blake Richardson (BTBAM)
Branden Morgan (Misery Signals)
Cyrus Bolooki (NFG)

Those are my favorite anyways. The drummer from the number 12 looks like you is pretty good too, I don't even really listen to them, but I've seen videos of him do some pretty spectacular stuff.

Meg White is a good drummer you jackass. It does not take immediately loud, fast skill to be a good drummer. It takes innovation, and use of the bare essentials. Meg White gets long great, with what, 4 a bass, snare, and cymbal? Just because she isn't desperate enough to make videos of herself playing doesn't mean she sucks. She is great at keeping the song down to level.

it doesnt matter what you use she still isnt good at all, and the white stripes are horriable. bob ferrari (ex pink spiders) uses the same as hers, and hes good and makes it sound intresting, the white stripes are boring as hell.

I did not say that keeping time is the only thing that matters. What matters is keeping time, keeping the attention balanced between the musicians, and not having to show off and make the whole song seem mediocre and awkward. How she is "painfully average at best" is beyond me. Like I said, just because she doesn't make videos of herself and make a point to show the extent of her skill does not make her "painfully average at best".

Haha the Pink Spiders are so fucking shitty it's unbelievable. You listen almost exclusively to pop-punk. I would not expect someone who only appreciates immediately accessible music to listen to the White Stripes (or good music at all, for that matter).

When did I say she was the best ever? Jesus christ, I was just defending her from accusations stating that she "sucks". And yes, it sort of is. It is knowing when to show skill and when not. What the fuck is this? When you read books, do you make up things that people said and change the story so you can think of something smart and clever to say about it? Nevermind, I just read your profile and your favorite book is the bible; you aren't used to having support for what is said.

I can't believe how many times the dude from ABR has been name dropped in this thread.

He clearly isn't one of the best in 25 years, but you can't deny that he is very talented.

Do not say stuff like the bolded part unless you can say it is beyond any possible comprehension that anybody can be better. Which I can assure you that you can't.

Danny Carey is the drummer from Tool btw. Amazing drummer, but I wouldn't presume I know enough about drumming to comment on the best ever.

And you're forgetting that R&B existed before that, and Tin Pan Alley existed before that, and orchestra music before that....

underoath has more talent that all the bands on your lists combined. Aaron gillespie could play every instrument better than the people from modest mouse. and new found glory are innovators. dont rag on other peoples music just because you cant come to realize that timothy mctague from UO writes guitar riffs like he is God. You should respect that.

Your musical tastes are anything but broad.

Listen to what you will, but don't claim to have more knowledge of music than what's been bestowed upon you by FUSE and your metalcore fuckbuddies.

Oh, and Jesus was a man.
