Her new album, This Is It & I Am It & You Are It & So Is That & He Is It & She Is It & It Is It & That Is That, was recently released and it's a little slice of wonderful. Experimental Rock in the vein of Kaki King, contemporary prog and, oddly enough, Arena Rock circa mid-'80s. It's rather good.

Wow, gave her myspace a listen and I like what I hear! Pretty challenging at first but I have listened to 'Grapefruit' a few times and am digging it. Very frantic. Reminds me of Battles to a certain extent. Ta for the rec.

This girl is insane. I picked this album up on a whim last week and it's pretty intense. Definitely not great to spin in your office though, as I played it and during the midst of "Prime" my coworker announced that if I ever played that again he'd come over and stab me (I work in cubicle world).

Needless to say, he did not appreciate it. But I liked the hell out of it. Great stuff.

Just saw her last night. She had a guitarist and drummer with her and they were super tight. If you don't know the music it might be hard to tell whats going on, but everything sounded very true to the recordings. Solid live show. I reccomend catching her if you get a chance.
