i agree both are every good. the new album relies on his singing more. and i think it is more whole. im able to listen to the whole cd without skipping those boring tracks. lol

This Darkened Heart cd had too many slow hour long introductions, but once you got to the good stuff its gross. the screamer is very very versitile.

trust me, all that remains and still remains are nothing alike. Just similar names, prolly cuz they emerged around the same time. Still remains is decent, but in my opinion rather generic, plus all that remains has a girl bassist which i think is pretty tight. haha

I really liked The Fall of the Ideals, the drumming and screams were great. I was disappointed with Overcome, they are almost turning more "mainstream" metal. It kinda reminds me of a7x. I feel like many singers in metal bands sound alike and that is what ATR has turned into.

I haven't heard Overcome yet, but the single didn't do anything for me.
I love The Fall of Ideals and This Darkened Heart is pretty good too.

And the drummer on The Fall of Ideals is ridiculous.
