Slipknot's Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses is better and rocks harder than most pussy metalcore amped here.

I don't like Slipknot very much..They have a few good songs here and there but I heard that album and didn't like it.

They seem to have matured (although "People equal shit" is a great song), and their two singles are the best since, well, "Wait and Bleed." But, I haven't heard the rest of the album, so I can't say that I like the album. They are one of the best metalcore/nu metal bands (Korn has gone to shit).

I'm sorry, you're wrong. I've had to endure listening to that album, and if by rocks harder and is better, you mean all the songs sound the same, then yes, it does rock hard.
I'll stick with DEP and Between The Buried And Me. Originality and talent always appealed to me.

Hahaha, fuck the knot.
I don't really like their music, but I could listen to it if I had to, but saying that I do have a good dance to Duality if I go out on a Friday.
They were really good when I saw them live though, even though I don't like the music, they put on a really good fucking show.

No way...Their newer songs were actually pretty good and their live show is awesome.

I hate them.
I'm sorry, but the only way that 9 people should be in one band is if their either a big band or a mini orchestra.
That being said, I haven't listened to anything except the first one when I was 14 and I got tired of that in about a week, so I don't imagine why I'd enjoy anything by them now.

I hate Korn too. That Head guy goes to show all those white trash bands just aren't right in the head.

I also hate Korn. Fieldy's bass sounds like the worst piece of shit ever plugged into an amp.

Ha. I found this shirt online that said "Korn gave Head to God"
Edit: Here it is.

slipknot's self-titled and vol.3:sv are their best. i didnt really dig iowa as much but it does have some nice moments. its just too "grindy" sounding alot of times. mate.feed.kill.repeat. is also a good record.

All celebrities who do this shit think their opinion is more important than others...Ex. Stephen Baldwin or whichever Baldwin turned extremely religious.
Slipknot fucking own live, as Ive said, and gotten shit for saying, a bunch of times. And yes, Vol 3 is a fucking awesome album.
Its refreshing to see someone else rise above cred points and give Slipknot some deserved praise.

Praise for what? Making the same album over and over again?
If you are going to give bands shit for not experimenting or changing their sound, I hardly think Slipknot are the most obvious choice. If you listen to their debut and then Vol 3 and claim they havnt changed, you are simply wrong. Half of the bands mentioned on this site have either not progressed at all or not nearly as well as Slipknot. Just cause they stick to the same genre and sound doesnt make them any less as musicians.

this is correct. they've probably actually gotten worse since their first release

They applied the same formula they had with their first album to the rest.
PS. I don't like half the bands mentioned on this site, so mentioning that was pretty irrelevant.
Funny Vince. Either way, I have to go now. And dammit, AP has been down all day for me. Is the server going to get steady soon?

Haha yeah it has no tone at all. Its like a fucking belt smaking together.

I used to be a huge fan of Slipknot. I loved their self titled and Iowa. They were both really awesome. The roommate I had during college kind of fucked me over with metal music because that's all he listened to, all day everyday. So I was really burnt out on Metallica, SOAD, Pantera, Slipknot...bands like that. I'm just now starting to hear songs from Metallica and Slipknot on the radio and go, "Hey, you know, they are still good." I'll always like Slipknot, just not to the extent I used to. Metallica is pretty much shit now...St Anger is the biggest piece of shit ever. Long story short, I haven't heard the new Slipknot all the way through. After Corey and James did the Stone Sour album, Slipknot seemed to get more poppier and when their single came out, Corey was singing. Corey never really sang in Slipknot. It was always crazy yelling and shit. What I've heard from the new album is pretty good. I'd like to hear it.
Oh this is excellent. Slipknot are coming to Norway again this summer. I can't wait!
