ok so i never knew this but there are two versions of what it is to burn. my friend sent me the other version of the song. i was wondering which one people like more. i like the version that they played on mtv a lot more. i thought the original version was kind of blah compared to it.

No. The new stuff that I have heard is not Mars Volta-ish at all. They are heavier now and have stepped up their game as musicians. The new album is guaranteed to gain elitists' respect, but one of them who actually knows anything about music will have to point out the extraordinary musicianship first (so it won't be Dom).
