Mine? Mine sucks, that's why I'm searching for other scenes I can connect to, and find some cool bands along the way...

Mostly just the upcoming shows in Erie, but all the bands have a description or link to their myspace.

I'm taking a liking to the stuff on Dirt Cult records (http://www.myspace.com/dirtcultrecords).

Too bad it's all way away down there in Las Cruces.

We really don't have a website for the "scene", but there are a few decent bands around my area.

there's a big blog for our scene that's escaping my mind (i only read it once in a while). i usually just follow the bands i like locally (like Sing it Loud, Weaver at the Loom, Lights out Dancing, and Camera Can't Lie) either through their myspaces/through people i know/going to their shows and hearing random news from them themselves.

i used to kinda not like my scene, but through the last year or so, i've really learned to love it.

the local scene is pretty much straightedge/hardcore kids in high school forming like 321421 bands and breaking up like in 2 weeks. i hate it...

I'm from VA/D.C. and of course the scene in D.C. was fantastic once upon a time. We have nice venue's and all, but there aren't very many good bands out right now...to be honest, which is kind of a bummer. Or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough or haven't found them.

My scene doesn't have a website or anything, but there are a couple of OK bands, and one pretty legit one.
Unfortunately there's also a lot of BAD pop-punk bands too.

Terra Terra Terra; they're pretty decent. I think they're going to be putting out a cd soon.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendid=13772038
The Wedding Party; they're like, country/folkrock. but if you're into that, they're good.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendid=8806439
The Vow; I saw them live a couple of days ago. They're alright.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendid=51100588
Mouse Fire; pretty decent as well. they're touring right now. Probably one of the more original bands around here.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendid=7427980
Evangelin; They're pretty okay, although I'm not sure if that would count as them being from the Lakeland Scene, since they're from orlando, but I saw them live once.

Scranotn's scene has a lot of punk ska, regular punk, and shitty talentless metal bands.

The Menzingers are where it's at. Test Pattern was a great venue, but now pretty much all that is left is New Penny Lounge (never been to because it's a bar and they won't let me in), and Cafe Metropolis (which is great). I don't think any local bands play Croc Rock but its a good venue.

I have no clue about Clermont though.

i can dig it. I'm in a band called Dethbox. playing artopia was fun cause everytime someone that worked their would walk down i would start making fun of how they hung up Graffiti on canvas like it looked cool or some shit. then during a band i was bored so i started throing pillows off of this couch at kids and the started doing it too so i chucked the couch at them and threw over a table and watched kids go nuts. but over all salt lake blew cause i spent to much money at Red Light Books, and i asked the cool girl that worked their to come to the show but she said she was going to see Boris and Torche and i would much rather have gone to that. and a crusty (in slc wtf?) threw a beer at my guitar player while we were skating some street.

We have a really good band, called We Can't Sleep At Night. all of my friends think that they sound a little like Joy Division... and yea, they really do. a little.

Haha, I've started making some electronica music that most people on this forum would hate. And I'm in a band at the moment which I hope will do SOMETHING to help out the scene.
