I've got a baaad feeling about this one. Which is why I'm picking the Titans to win.

Come on Peyton, prove me wrong. Punish me for my lack of faith.

(Good lord do we need Bob Sanders back now...and Addai...and most of our offensive line)

Chris Johnson needs to run wild. And the Titans D has to shut down Wayne, Clark and Harrison.

piece of cake.

Good lord I hope you're right. We could really use a big win on the road to lift our momentum, especially with the Patriots coming to town next week.

The only way I see the Colts winning is if Peyton just destroys the pass defence. Chris Johnson will probably have a big day, and Collins isn't gonna turn the ball over, so this could be a high scoring affair. And nobody knows how to win shootouts better than Peyton Manning (except maybe Favre). That's the only way we win tonight. If the points total is less than 40, Titans win.

Bob Sanders we need him back more than ever. Unfortunately the Colts can't run the ball or stop the ball and the Titans do both of those greatly. Vanden Bosch is a game-time decision so he might be out, that'll help the O-Line a little bit. We'll see I have a good feeling Colts win if Manning gets hot early but if Titans run the ball all night it'll be over quickly.

Colts 24 Titans 20

The Colts success is going to ride on how well they execute in the passing game, and the level of protection their o line can give manning against our pass rush. From what i've seen most of the year, i think we handle the o line and get to manning a few times. He can't afford to throw multiple picks in this game, and if he does, i think we win handily.

It seems like a mismatch honestly, but i fully expect the colts to come out on their game, despite their play this season. But being that this is monday night, at home, i'd really be shocked to lose this game.

i went to two games that season and the season before. it was really sad to see them go, because you figured they were going to go, but it just wasn't final. (kind of like the sonics in seattle)
I tried to pick up another team after they left because i was upset, plus i didn't get oilers games every week like i did before, but with all the same players it was hard to just drop them, even though Bud Adams said fuck you to Houston. Plus as much as i loved the oilers derrick, i fell in love with the titans colors (which were basically the oilers, and now are much more like the oilers) and logo.

i have nearly every players autograph from the 1995 oilers team besides Steve McNair. I saw him a few times, but the bastard would never sign for more than a couple minutes. I've got a few Eddie George, Al Del Greco, Micheal Barrow, Chris Dishman, Rodney Thomas, Chris Chandler, and Bruce Matthews autographs.

kerry collins does exactly what he needs to do, which is manage the game and be economical with his pass attempts and decisions...their offense is built around one of the best running attacks in the game right now....

and im sure CBS didnt label haynesworth the best DT of all time, your just making shit up now...but what does that even matter, the Titans have the best D in the game.

their D was solid last year as well, its just the offense was inconsistent, plus the CJ/White duo and their massive line has given them one of the best running games in the league.

if someone had told me the titans would be 7-0 with kerry collins at qb and the colts would be 3-4 i would have told them they were crazy. VY getting hurt is the best thing that ever happened to this team.

i do remember hearing the titans say they were planning on bringing back VY for some plays, so the wildcat could be a real possibility.

FUCK YES

that game had me worried the first half. we didn't play our game, and tried to throw the ball more, mostly because they were stacking the box and playing really stout run D. Great comeback though, a few huge stops were crucial, and those picks were big. i said before the game that if manning thew 2 picks we win handily, and we did.

once we had the lead it seemed the colts let up quite a bit and our running game started back up.

anyway, great win for the titans. hopefully this shuts some doubters up for now. we have a tough schedule coming up, so it should be interesting.
but shit, it feels great to be 7-0.

oh, and so much for "the titans can't score enough points" and "the titans can't stop high powered defenses". we played one today, AND they managed to run the ball on us, and we still came up big in the clutch.
bring on the packers
