Poster above got to it first.
Checked out the tracks they had streaming on their site when I first found out.
They're good. Quite good. I'm looking forward to this.

mmmh Epitaph is becoming an indie label. I guess that's what Anti is for. I like this though.
I know this a little out there but they kind of remind me of the appleseed cast.

yeah good sign, compared to drive thru who now signs band after band and i have the feeling they dont even think before they sign....well interesting to see how they do

Epitpah has been singing more and more :out of the box" bands. Doesn't bother me, but my tastes aren't that large. (I hate Matchbook Romance and the Locust.) But these guys don't sound half bad. Mellow...but still good. Reminds me of the Postal Serivce with a hint of Fingers-Cut! Megamachine!.

You gotta be kidding. Have you seen the list of bands on Epitpah's roster? So many of them don't do anything and/or suck. Epitpah is just as bad as Drive Thru.

I'm pretty sure this signing was announced a while ago. Oh well, I have no idea how they sound or whatnot.

Scene points for you just for the love of Fingers-Cut! Megamachine. Ive yet to check out the Youth Group but with Epitaphs recent signings they are just trying to get away from one general type of music i think with people such as Sage Francis.

epitaph is old and they actually think before they sign bands. drive thru doesnt because they know whatever band they sign will have an immediate following because of the drive thru name. epitaph may be huge but they dont have that at their disposal.
Drive Thru can thank this site for the ability to do that.

You've got a point, but there are people like me who trust Epitaph with pretty much every signing. I don't even like rap and I loved Sage Francis, and Atmosphere was pretty good too. Plus I don't think they have any BAD bands.
