How does a band like this just get on the front page of Absolute Punk? Do they have members from some other big band? Are they on a credible label? Perhaps they have tons of plays on PureVolume or they're touring with a bigger band? Umm, not sure about the first question, I don't think so, and no. As far as I can see, their website doesn't even work. I just find that really weird...does anyone else?

It is unusual for us to post about a band without having some sort of credentials, but we have to make sure to rep some of the smaller bands, the ones that need repping, from time to time. Often there is a reason we choose a band as well, if they have been in contact or sent material to us looking for promotion they can sometimes earn a news post. It all depends. I'm sure you agree with giving some love to the little guys right? And their website does work. :animateds

I agree, I just thought it was weird. I've always thought of sending you guys an e-mail about the band I'm in, but I was always like...well, the band has only played with Small Towns Burn A Little Slower, Pelican and Dead Poetic as far as "bigger" bands goes, and we don't have a gazillion plays like Fall Out Boy, and no former members of The Movielife or anything. Hmm, well maybe I'll shoot you an e-mail if you guys are posting good bands that need some reppin. Thanks for the reply.

PS: The site didn't work for me....maybe it's something with my computer...urrr....
