I watch news very often and this Terri Schiavo case has got me thinking.

For those who live under a rock, Terri Schiavo went into a comatose state 15 years ago and her husband said she said she never wanted to be kept alive by machines. But her parents say she could be reabilitated and her husband denies them the right to take her to therapy to try and rehabilitate her. Theres more to it but I don't want to type it all.

Would you want to be kept alive by machines if you were in a coma?

If I was in a coma longer than a year with no change I'd want someone to pull the plug.

I would too, but "pulling the plug" and starving her to death are two different things. I'd have no problem if they just kill her like they kill people on the death row.... you know, just an injection. I think that making her starve to death is horrible.
