At the apex of my soul,
There seems to be a flaw in the structure,
Not a flaw so much as a hole,
That seems to widen every time I touch you,
At the crossroads of my mind,
There seems to be a crack in the makeup,
A crack that seems to twist and twine,
Every single morning that I wake up,
Next to my,
Next to my fiery rose,
Burnt, but my skin’s not peeling,
Sends shivers down my spine,
Kinetic, Electric, Directed,
Through your body straight to mine,
Burnt, rebuilt from the embers,
Through your eyes I shine,
Uncharted, Whole hearted, Imparted,
Through your body straight to mine,
At the apex of my soul,
There seems to be a flaw in the structure,
Not a flaw so much as a hole,
That seems to widen every time I touch you,
In the recesses of my brain,
There seems to be a gouge in the surrounds,
An open wound with no hint of pain,
Every single time that I lay down,
Next to my,
Next to my fiery rose,
Burnt, but my skin’s not peeling,
Sends shivers down my spine,
Kinetic, Electric, Directed,
Through your body straight to mine,
Burnt, rebuilt from the embers,
Through your eyes I shine,
Uncharted, Whole hearted, Imparted,
Through your body straight to mine,
Was I not put together right in the first place?
For I’ve not felt this way before,
And the only thing that I now know for sure,
Is I can’t hide (no more),
I’m rearranging on the inside,
No I can’t hide (no more),
The shadow within me has died,
The bitter caustic core.
There seems to be a flaw in the structure,
Not a flaw so much as a hole,
That seems to widen every time I touch you,
At the crossroads of my mind,
There seems to be a crack in the makeup,
