ok so heres the deal.
We are along the lines of a powerpop/pop rock band with some hardcore influence. The closest bands we could compare ourselves to are the deer hunter mixed with a sing it loud type feel. We are working on a 6 song acousitic ep along with a reg. 6 song ep. The acoustic is pretty much done and we have 3 songs completed for the other one. Our band consists of 2 guitarists, drummer, bass, and keys. We all have 10 years plus experience except for one who has only played for 5 years. Our first show is dec 5th and we are doing some coffee shop shows before that just to get acoustic stuff out there. As far as our goals go, we are looking to tour by the summer and do a 1-2 month tour along the east coast, maybe the west. If you would like some samples of our music contact us. Our myspace is also under construction as well and we want everything done before we release anything.
requirements:
1. age 17-24
2. good vocal range and can hit high notes
3. we dont want a typical whiney pop punk voice
4. dedicated and can practice at least 2 times a week
5. good looking( jk , just be a cool person )
