had never listened to this band. just heard "Don't Trust Me" for the first time yesterday and am fucking obsessed. haven't listened to anything else by them though.

3OH3! is just one of those band you either love or you hate.
I love them,but I could see why people hate them.
If your not into that i can see why,but I love them and they were great at warped.

They were cool in '07 around here when I had an awful trendy taste in music (could debate I still do now). On occasion I'll spin their first CD for the hell of it, I particularly like "Hott" and "Saydem Up". New album broke them into the near mainstream, and it just doesn't have as much heart like the first release did. I remember reading somewhere on here someone described 3OH!3 perfectly: music for people who aren't really into music.
I have no excuse as to why I am going to one of their sold out shows in Denver this weekend, but I do have a ticket. Should be fun.

I used the search function for 3Oh!3 twice because I thought I'd seen a thread before but I got nothing. :shrug:
They were cool in '07 around here when I had an awful trendy taste in music (could debate I still do now). On occasion I'll spin their first CD for the hell of it, I particularly like "Hott" and "Saydem Up". New album broke them into the near mainstream, and it just doesn't have as much heart like the first release did. I remember reading somewhere on here someone described 3OH!3 perfectly: music for people who aren't really into music.

all I've heard so far is the one song which I loved, but "not really into music" is hardly a phrase I'd use to describe myself.

You can't really talk about bands like this on AP since they have absolutely no merit. They are hardly even real music and most people with any sense hate them. In fact, the people that do like them only do so because it's good party music but discussing that stuff isn't what the forum is for.

the whispering vocals in both those songs sound horribly alike to me. thats the main reason i think they sound the same.

i like Dont Trust Me.
but not so much their other stuff. although they did a song with Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low and Juliet Simms from Automatic Loveletter, it's pretty catchy.

It is sad that bands like this and Metro Station are the new trend in music....Why couldn't Death From Above be trendy here in the states? They were HUGE in Canada.
Comparing DFA to Metro Station will never, ever, ever happen again.

i went and saw them last night, probably 4-6 girls got pulled onto stage for passing out, 1 was having a seizure, i watched a guy stage dive and break the girls nose to the left of me, broke up a fight, and played grab-ass with almost every person there. oh and some girl was passing out after the show so i had to get security for her. it made me think, "wow i've been to so many metal and hardcore shows and have never seen so much brutality."

really? why was it so brutal? that sounds like the opposite of how I would expect their shows to be or what I've heard about their shows.

i'm pretty sure on one there had ever been to a concert before so people stage diving caught them off guard or they didnt anticipate being smashed into the stage and stuff.
