Thrice (http://www.thrice.net) have posted two tracks from their upcoming DVD/CD release, If We Could Only See Us Now, which hits stores on March 29th. Motion Isn't Meaning (http://www.purevolume.com/thrice) and Eclipse (http://www.myspace.com/thrice).

i heard these two songs and went and preordered it :-)



anyway, why does it matter how "rare" the b-sides are? It's all music from Thrice.

thats the new so strainge i belive and that version is fucking amazing.......... the first 5 are all on a cd you got at civic tour of theres and in the same order thats crazy......

It's probably just because if you bought the Civic Tour EP 5 of those B-sides aren't rare at all. But I see what you're saying. And I agree.

Eclipse is fucking cool, but I haven't heard any of the other rare ones. Eleanor Rigby should be interesting at least.

Thrice are one of the bands that give me hope in this "scene." For every band who does some crap thing or label head who screws people over, I have Thrice to reaffirm my belief in the power of amazing people creating innovative music that really can change your life. Thanks Thrice.

they should've put on Deadbolt with the sweet guitar outro...
other than that, Motion is on the All That's Left UK single (which i paid way too much for), and Eclipse is on that Island cd. eh.

I do... and so do they. I remember an interview with either Dustin or Teppei that said they stopped covering other bands songs because they thought it was lame. The quote's jist was another band already did the song well, so why try covering the immortal sound of the Beatles or someone else because it will never be better?

But all that aside, it sounds terrible. And I have to say, the "So Strange I Remember You" version posted is interesting, but I would take the original in a heartbeat. I just think the song already has an amazing emotion to it, and this darker version just takes away from the beauty of the original version...
