Whats everyones favorite cities/towns and why?

Mine:
Syndney - one of the few big cities in which I remember feeling completely comfortable in. I loved it. Brisbane was the same. Australia = wow.

Boston: I love walking around Boston, love the water front their and quincy market.

Amsterdam: Amsterdam just rules...weather aside its one of the best places on earth.

Geneva: Home town, all my growing up memories were there.

Paris: Paris is one of the most beautiful cities I've seen> It actually feels OLD, which I love.

Florence: Florence has such a nice atmosphere...and damn good ice cream :)

I'll add more later.

I'm a baseball person so I'm going to say Chicago solely because of Wrigley Field

I haven't really been to a ton of cool, big cities, but from what I have been to I'd say Chicago and Quito, Ecuador.

This thread (and PeeDster's list especially) only make me sad that I haven't visited that many places (namely Europe).

But I will say:

Toronto
Chicago
Cancun
Seattle

Yeah, I kinda just realized I haven't been out of the country enough.

Boston has got to be my all-time favorite because I visited it so much when I was growing up.
Seattle's next because of all the activity on the waterfront and the overall feel of downtown.
San Diego is pretty rad too.

London - I loooooove big cities and I just love this place to death. Everytime I go, I always have the time of my life and meet the most awesome people. It's also got such cool architecture and history and *le sigh* I just love it.

Seattle - What a gorgeous city, I loved it when I visited it. The Pike Place Market is sooooo neat.

Stockholm - The most beautiful city I have ever been in. Plain and simple. I just love the spread out-ness of the city and the laid back atmosphere it has. I love it's design and set up and layout. I love the stores, I love the people.... I just LOVE Sweden.

there are a whole bunch of others, but I really can't think right now.

Los Angeles as of now. all of my roommates have gone backpacking through Europe before, I plan on doing it in a year or two, hopefully next summer. I'm probably going to Amsterdam sometime this fall/next spring.

Detroit - Where the weak are killed and eaten.

Really though, I love my hometown of Columbus a lot, though I know it will get knocked down quite a few notches when I'm in Europe next year.

Hurray for toronto, thats a simple choice for me, I don't really like cities tho, prefer resorts when I travel, I wanna move to Cali in 5-10 years so hopefully some city near silicon valley is kickass
