you would think they would know the titles by now... they have spent so much time on this record.... I hope its good... Beverly Hills didn't strike me as the best weezer song... thats for sure... but it pretty good for sure...

how is there no tracklisting yet????..........this comes out in like 6 weeks, press packs should've been sent out already considering they are on a major label

When you're Weezer, the stores are going to buy the CD without knowing how many or what songs will be on it. The Press Pack can say "New Weezer CD - May 10, 2005" and every store will buy it.

Chances are this is accurate. If you search weezer on soulseek, these are the songs that come up. Labels usually put fake mp3s like these to fight off piracy. Plus, these titles have been coming up like this for a good two weeks now, and now 4 of the songs listed have been confirmed by rolling stone.

And the reason they don't have a tracklist yet is because they are going to great lengths to make sure it is as good as possible. Beverly Hills itself was remixed 3 times before going to radio and look how much it improved from the demo (the version streamed from the geffen site the other day) to the final album version (the one on the radio).

On a side note, the band's "fifth member" Karl Koch has confirmed that acoustic guitar, moog, strings, and wurlitzer were all utilized in recording the album, and assuming the mixer likes it, they'll all be present on the album. If that (along with the handclaps in Beverly Hills) doesn't make you excited, then I don't know what will.

it'd be nice if there were really 15 songs on this album. the Green Album and Maladroit were both pretty short. i just hope they don't all sound like Beverly Hills.

My expectations are extremely low, because basically, why should they be high? But I'd love to be suprised.
