Have both The Office and Entourage taken a nosedive in their 5th seasons?

Entourage is barely interesting anymore, and The Office, although it's of course a scripted show, seems waaaayyyyyyy moreso than before. Nothing spontaneous anymore. I'm kinda getting bored with both shows.

Anything funnier out there?

You're a fool if you don't think Entourage is on an up swing after two weak seasons. While NBC's sitcoms have always been hit or miss.


As for anything funny have you seen the new season of Its Always Sunny(?), four seasons in and that show hasn't skipped a beat.

Entourage is way better than it's been in at least two seasons. Last very good season was season 2. That's crazy talk you're spouting there.

The Office is still good, just slightly less so. Still plenty entertaining.

I'm not sure what it is about this season of Entourage, I guess the whole E-Ari bickering thing is starting to feel a little played out, and I'm sick of seeing Vince hem and haw about what he's going to do with his career. I thought season 3 was great, myself, season 4 was a little draggy with the whole Medillin situation. And goddamn them for ever cutting Sloan's character, she was the hottest thing I've seen on any show in a long time.

For me, the laughs are fewer and far between with Entourage than ever, and I usually only seriously laugh when Ari burns Lloyd, which is almost always hilarious.



As for the Office, they pretty much wrote themselves into a corner with the whole Jim and Pam thing. Once they get married there won't be a ton of reasons to watch anymore. Andy and Dwight's characters are also starting to sound very predictable, especially Andy. That guy was annoyingly hilarious at first, now he's just annoying.
