Ah Ben, good choice with Pavement, any of Mewithoutyou's slower tempo'd songs sound like an exact instrumentation rip off of Pavement.

I hate these guys. I saw them open once and had heard so many good things from users on this site. Not unlike Ryan Adams, I just don't understand the appeal when there are many artists who have been doing their sound better for longer.
Not a fan. I don't know if anyone here listens to I Hate You, but it's pretty lol that they shared members.

i don't get that, when i was his age and all about ATDI and some older guy showed me drive like jehu, i didn't get all defensive and say he was being a dick. i was just glad to hear a new band.

Their live show was like watching drunk karaoke when you're sober except you hate all of the people and all of the songs involved.

like retardation or some form, but then i heard kids try to say he is a raging alcoholic but is a little slow, be relies on drinking to survive. Whatever sense that makes.

They're pretty damn smart but socially awkward and such. I don't think a man who lives as a homeless man and dances weird fits that description though, or maybe it does.

they are weird there is no doubt about that. but their fans always like to say they are retarded which I find weird. I mean if I like a band I am not going to go reporting that the members have disabilities, true or false.
You can go read any youtube comments to any of their videos where people say every fucking member is autistic.

they don't do shit like that anymore, they don't have those cool intros and they are not even close to that energetic for songs like Silencer. They were so good during the A to B era. They were all "normal" looking, well he used to dress real nice and was very clean as you can see. I guess a few years later he found out what folk music and Salvation Armys were.

Aaron used to be the drummer in the band The Operation too. Greg (mwY's bassist) was the lead singer.
He isn't autistic at all. Neither is their drummer. I have spend a whole lot of time with all of them.

Ha. A B was a good album. Anything after that just wasn't up to that level. And they don't play their old stuff because "it's full of anger" or something like that. Disappointing.

I disagree. I think they got better with each album. :shrug:. I think that A-->B Life excels at what it does, and same with Brother, Sister. It just depends on what you like I guess. Foxes just seems kind of in the middle.
