So why is it that the song "Mr. brightside" sounds so much different in the video than in their album? The version of Mr. Brightside is alright but I prefer the TV version (for once they actually play the bass louder than geetar)...anyone know where I can get it? Danke shern.

they do that a lot with songs. I read a book by the drummer in Semisonic (crappy band, good book) and he was talking about how they recorded like 5 different versions of the same song, depending on where it was being played (music video, album version, pop radio, rock radio, adult contemporary radio, etc...), so that's my best guess for the Mr. Brightside example

well, it was either recorded or just mastered that way to make the bassline louder or whatever, but I would think your best bet would to be to find a rip somewhere, because it will probably be close to impossible to find a recorded version of the TV version. sorry, i know that doesn't help much

i dont get how anyone can listen to one song so many times... it seems like they just want to prove themselves on audioscrobbler or something.... personally i keep myself very diversce and dont listen to the same song more than once a week ususally... i dont like to kill songs
