Happy Easter. For an "easter" mood I recommend listening to MxPx (http://www.mxpx.com), Relient K (http://www.relientk.com), and Slick Shoes (http://www.slickshoes.com) today.

Too bad I wasn't there to witness it. This was from last year by the way. So I'm waiting for someone to say old news.

Thanks for the reccomendations Tate. I think more people should take a second to think about what this whole easter business is about before commercialism bastardised it into an excuse to eat a months worth of chocolate in a day.

Oh Horray!, For today is the day that the wild dogs wandered into Jesus' Tomb and devoured his body like they did with any other prisoner that was put in the tombs, because that is what they did to get rid of the bodies! Horray for Easter!!!

I've often thought that J.C. has a good sense of humor, that's why people shouldn't be so offended!

I was gonna sit on the Easter Bunny's lap in this mall in Tulsa a few weeks back but I ended up going to this party and getting thrashed instead.

Yes, wild dogs went to the tomb, knocked out the guards, rolled the huge bolder to the side, devoured his body so nothing was there, and then left, all on the day that Jesus said he would come back. Some pretty smart dogs there...you freakin idiot.
You fucking retard, yeah lets think: they had a dead body in a tomb, they protected it real well didn't they. Its written that's what they did with the bodies, they let the wild dogs in the area eat them, its history. I'm sure that they gave every single body a proper burial right??? No, read a fucking history book that isn't all Jesus'd up. Don't let your "faith" blind you from History or for that fact Science. I could write a book about people flooding the earth and rising from the dead but it doesn't mean it happened. Go ask a college professor whom has studied that era and time. He'll tell you that was a very common thing they did with the bodies, The whole boulder infront of the tomb was bullshit, that's just a story Christians made up so that the "Risen From The Dead" looked more impressive. Think about it logically they killed the guy, i doubt they cared too much what happened with his body?
"...Roman crucifixion was state terrorism...its function was to deter resistance or revolt, especially among the lower classes; and...the body was usually left on the cross to be consumed eventually by the wild beasts. No wonder we have found only one body from all those thousands crucified around Jerusalem in that single century."
- John Dominic Crossan, Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography (1994)
"If those who executed him also buried him, it would have been in a shallow, unmarked public grave shared by other victims. His body would have decayed quickly in the Middle Eastern heat unless it had first been devoured by the wild dogs that frequented public burial places in the ancient Jewish world."
- John Shelby Spong, Liberating the Gospels, p. 298
