1st Portugal. The Man is not a Beatles rip-off. Censored Colors has some Bealtes-esque parts but listen to Waiter, Church Mouth and Wizard. Dude no comparison to the Beatles.

And secondly I have no idea how you can say that you like music and just say that the Mars Volta is noise. It is just baffling to me. If you don't like it say that. Just cause you may not understand it doesnt make it noise. Listen to the musicality they infuse with pure energy. The chord changes, modulations, modes, time signatures, and songwriting that goes into it. Its not "mindless" playing.
