The Voodoo Glow Skulls (http://www.voodooglowskulls.com) are also back from the Ska Is Dead II tour, and they've decided to clear up some rumours that have apparently been going around. The update from them is as follows:
3.10.2005
ahh home at last! We are happy to announce that ska is dead 2 has reached california! It's been a long exhausting 6 weeks so far and we finally are back in so. cal. Can't say I miss the snow or the rain etc....despite the tragic events from last week we've rejoined the tour in vegas and are finally glad to be back in the land of milk and honey! Back at home with the bulldog(let's put it that way). Only one week left and this tour is in the can.
Let me clear some things up for all of you. We have been hearing rumors that we are breaking up and or calling it quits?! How could we be doing this when we have just done one of the most successful tours we have done in awhile?! Since we are about to take a break for about 3/4 months at home, we are actually gonna start writing some new tunes for the next possible VGS release! Sometimes we will admit to have thought about quitting or taking a long absence due to the fact that touring and living this lifestyle is frustrating and the music biz ain't no picnic, but we love doing this way too much to let that happen. Besides with all the crap you hear on the radio and mtv we feel its our duty to represent the way we do! SO DEAL WITH IT. Instead we are already planning on writing yet another CD without even knowing what label will release it or if a label will even be interested in us! Also we are talking about doing the summer of ska tour with Catch 22 in july and august. So let's put those rumors to rest fuckers! Expect to see us doing some more so. cal gigs during the spring too! WORD.
