I'm seeing them Thursday and I can't wait. Although, this is a little disappointing, its not bad. But I hope they play some old material on the next tour, like they said they would.

A new ep would be uber-sweetness.
This is the exact set list they did here in San Diego but in LA they didnt do yellow cat / red cat and Casper told us it was because they "got away" with doing one more song then they were originally suppose to play.
So consider yourself lucky if you get to see the show where they do yellow cat.

Same set as in Phoenix, awesome show! Max said they'd be back in August headlining, good to hear they'll be coming through.

Yea. At the show I saw in Chicago, Casper kept moving the hands on the clock back so that it'd look like their set wasn't over yet. It was funny. So we got the extra song. I can't wait to see them headline.
yeah.

And yea, a new EP would be sweet. I'm sure any songs they'd put on there would be pretty awesome...

I talked to Max at the Austin show and he said there was gonna be nothing put out for a long while and that they were gonna ride out ...Is a Real Boy for a while. I guess that's understandable since the CD came out last August...

cool. it should be interesting at Wills, considering that place is pretty small.
i must say, that's a nice set list.
I agree. That's pretty much the setlist they had at the knitting factory in new york last month. They've been great the last two times around here in NYC, looking forward to the summer tour.

A bunch of people have said that they won't play Admit It!!! because it's too long but I could have sworn they played it when I saw them when I saw them a few months back, plus all of the songs on the setlist Frank posted. Except maybe Alive With The Glory Of Love, but I thought I maybe heard that one, too. Idk.

they wont play it as an opening band but max did say they would play when they came back in august, a bunch of the crowd was chanting for it. it was also kinda sad when they finished everyone was chanting "one more song" even tho there were still two bands to play

But they were opening for Hot Rod Circuit and Straylight Run. I specifically remember that line, "My car and my guitar." How could you forget it? Sigh, I don't know. I do remember they went over their time limit , though.

hmm dont know, they didnt play it at SD on that tour or at anahiem a couple months earlier for another show not on the tour, where they had a bit longer set

I don't think these guys will have anything to release for a good year maybe longer. However, how amazing is that Minus the Bear, and how amazing is that tour? I left the Say Anything show at Chain after they played, that was the headliner, they are the stars.

They played most of those at the Chicago show too. I was there. For sure, I remember "Spidersong", "The Futile" & "Slowly Through A Vector". I freaking love them.
i think they keep the same set list because it is the only songs they can play live right now, the last two tours max had to play guitar and sing, its my understanding that he cant do that for all the songs. and on this tour there are two new band members who dont know all the songs yet. when i asked him if there was any chance he could play 'slumming it with johnny' or 'we will erase all life on earth' at either of the shows i was going to he told me they couldn't play them live yet. i expect them to come back on the headlining tour with a whole new set list, and i expect it to be worth one of your limbs...

i just want to hear 'we will erase all life on earth but us' live. the last time i saw them was the set cut short at the downtown (long island) the second nite of the straylight tour. i've never been more stoked about a two song set, however.
