Face it, we all know the new guitarist Matt Fazzi will eventually leave taking back sunday to start on his own solo career.

Brand New could count i guess, technically. but then it would be no contest with the people on this site.

for me, this is choosing the lesser of two evils. straylight run has been going downhill since they released their first demo. those demos were great, the self-titled was decent, the ep was okay aside from their god awful rendition of a great bob dylan song, and the needles the space was just awful. the color fred was awful all along though, so i chose straylight.

Both are great. But Fred could do so much better. Straylight Run is the winner by far. However, when Fred comes out with the second CD I'm thinking that it might give Straylight a run for its money.

But I've recently seen both bands live.
Fred on WT2K8 and Straylight supporting Scary Kids, Scaring Kids and Anberlin.
Straylight is much more exciting to see live compared to Fred.

Lol, I like the extension on the word existentialism. It sort of reminds me of the Demetri Martin joke about the the word banana. You never know when to end it. Only in this case, it was kind of in the middle of the word.

Anyways, I can agree with you there. I love that song as well.
But The Color Fred isn't even close to being as good as Straylight Run to me.
