Its fair to say both Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery made good James Bonds. Its going to be interesting to see a new James Bond, but I dont think that Owen will be as good as his predecessors.

Yep, I enjoy nearly all films Brosnan appears in such as Thomas Crown Affair, Mrs. Doubtfire heh and Dante's Peake. Even though that sucks slightly. Can't wait for The Topkapi Affair. Should be good. Hard to believe he's 52 this year.

amen, AMEN. clive owen is probably one of the most underrated actors in hollywood today. he will be the perfect bond, and might even bring some legitimacy back to the role (pierce was a joke, in my opinion.)

oh, and btw, they casted orlando bloom to be the young bond in the upcoming movie about the young 007.

I enjoyed Goldeneye quite a bit and all. It just seemed like Bond was more of a joke and parody movie with Pierce for some reason. I'm hoping with Clive, it gets a bit more serious and like...legitimate again.

The main thing about Bond was his coolness factor...the way he said things and dealt with situations. Other than Connery...Bronsan had that factor nailed down. I believe Owens will as well.
