Straylight Run by FAR, i really like the Mae song too but all SR's demos are gold.

Straylight's "Mistakes..." demo > Mae's "Mistakes..." > Straylight's album "Mistakes..."

I like Mae more than Straylight too.

straylight's 'mistakes..' is a lot better, and i too like the demo version better than the album version.

Straylight's version was my favorite song off of that particular album, where as Mae's version probably comes in at 6 or 7. Though that's unfair because The Everglow really kills Straylight's full length. I guess I probably like Straylight's version more anyways, that's such a great song.

Straylight for Mistakes, Mae for anything else. ;)

Oh, and yeah, the demo version of Straylight's was so much better than what we got on the full length. The demo had a lot more energy.

I voted for the Straylight Run "Mistakes..." but the Mae song is so damn good too. I really love both bands a lot

Just for the song I choose Straylight Run, but as a band I like Mae better.

I love Mae, but 'Mistakes We Knew We Were Making' ranks among one of my top favourite Straylight songs, so I have to say Straylight. I'd probably take Mae over any other Straylight song though.

Wow, i can't believe you said that about John Nolan. I think they both have good voices, they are just different from each other.

It's the truth. His voice is just plain bad. Learning to sing on key should be one of the first things you do when you aspire to become a vocalist.

Your opinion. I know John's voice cracks sometimes but it's so filled with emotion, I love it.
