haha. for a while i forgot about it, too.

I used to use LJ a lot (like about 6 years ago) and this summer I got back into posting on my LJ but.. it's not the same.. and Tumblr doesn't have commenting so it's a different feel I like it. like ii'm just posting to get it out.. no replies or anything

i used to find the idea of them incredibly stupid, but i began to actually use it pretty frequently this year.. i like to write now, and it's good to have an open forum where it's being read by people who actually care about me and want to know what i'm going through, give feedback, relate stories to.. etc.

I restrict my LJ to just a few people I know and some others I've met only through LJ.. it's somehow comforting to hear a response to things i just feel the need to write about
i did that at first.. i made the majority of my entries friends only. but to prove a point and save face in a since evaporated relationship i made everything public to prove a point to someone.. and have since just left everything public.

i want people to read. i want people to leave comments.. some things are more personal than others, but the majority of my entries aren't about personal struggles, they're just recounting the stories of fun times.

I have used livejournal for years. I used to use a site called OpenDiary too, but that was a long long time ago.
