Quick question, and if this goes in another thread I apologize.
If polls close at 8, and I get to the polls at 7:30, but the line causes me to not get into the booth til say 8:05, can I still vote? Or do they cut it off immediately at 8, regardless of when you get there.
If this is a state-specific issue, I'm registered in NJ. I just discussed this yesterday with both my parents and friends, and nobody knew. This seems like a fairly important point, so I'm sure it's written down somewhere or somebody knows.
