Hopesfall To Shoot New Video; Dates On Warped Tour

Hopesfall (http://www.hopesfall.com) will be filming a video for "Breathe From Coma" in the near future with director Drew Tyndell. The band has also been confirmed for a June 18th to August 15th run on the Smartpunk stage at this year's Warped Tour.

Hopesfall is a disgrace to hardcore. It is pathetic they still call themselves hopesfall. If you know anything about hopesfall, you would know that the guitarist josh is the only original member and that theyre past 2 cds The satellite years and a types have been absolutely nothing like there first two cd back in 99 and 00. I think it is save to say that this band has sold out more then and hardcore band in the scene todaym, even underoath, except with underoath the music is still good, and i can enjoi listening to there songs. when i purchased atypes i could not even get though 30 seconds of one of there songs.They do not deserve there fame, they stole 4 hard years from the original members and now have hit stardem.

Things happen and unless your in the band u have no idea why they went they choose to drop the hardcore/screamo from A-types. Which when u think about it is an amazing and catchy Rock CD.

I am in a band...and no we have not been in there position to choose to whether or not to drop the hardcore but still the past two cds have sucked...and hopesfall is a joke now.

people have set standards of what hardcore is, honestly, look outside the box. I don't think they really care what people call hardcore and what people's standards are, I honestly think they just wrote songs. No I do not like A Types as much as Satellite Years, and that guy at the top was putting up a decent fight, but once I saw Satellite Years being bashed, then I realized how irrelevent his, or anyone's opinion on a band, their music and their history is. you like it or you don't like, get over the assumptions.

is the "Satellite Years" really that much different from "No Wings to Speak Of"?

Yeah, A Types is very different, and in my opinion pretty bland, but can you blame a band for not trying to re-write the same record over and over for their whole career? Your interests change as you get older, and eventually you run out of things to scream about.

I fell in love with them with No Wings To Speak Of...Satelites was ok and A Types killed me. I understand they are progressing and it's hard to sound the same with so many line up changes but I aggree with whoever said stop calling themselves Hopesfall.

It's like Drowningman...only original member is Simon Brody, the line up was different every release and they just gradually fell apart (we will see about this new Drowningman line up...i saw them at hellfest and they were good but there has been changes since then even).

Anyway, I don't like the new Hopesfall but I will always listen to No Wings To Speak Of and love every damn second of it.

actually josh bingham(i think thats his last name) is the only original member simon brody i think is the drummer which use to the bassist...during sattlite years...if that isnt his name then whoever played bass now plays drums...

check out frailty of words their cd priot to NWTSO its sooo good...but no wings is one of the best EPs ever made.

but i agree, No Wings to Speak Of is absolutely perfect. not one bad note on the entire EP.
